5. Mortgage Calculators

Our Site provides mortgage calculators (including mortgage payment, affordability, and debt consolidation calculators) as convenience tools. These calculators:

• Produce estimates only, based on the inputs you provide and simplified mathematical formulas.
• Do not account for all factors that affect a real mortgage — including but not limited to credit score, debt-service ratios, lender-specific requirements, insurance premiums, or legal fees.
• Should not be relied upon as the basis for any financial decision.

NP Mortgages makes no representations or warranties about the accuracy of calculator outputs. Results are provided “as is” without any guarantee.

6. Mortgage Application Submissions

When you submit a mortgage application through the Site (to buy, refinance, or renew), you understand and agree that:

• Submitting an application does not constitute a mortgage approval, commitment, or guarantee of any mortgage product or rate.
• The information you provide will be reviewed by NP Mortgages and may be shared with lenders or financial institutions as necessary to assess your application, in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
• You are responsible for the accuracy and completeness of the information you submit. Providing false or misleading information may result in your application being declined and could constitute fraud under Canadian law.
• By submitting, you consent to being contacted by NP Mortgages via email or phone in connection with your application.

7. Agent Registration

If you submit a registration to join NP Mortgages as a mortgage agent, you agree that:

• Submission does not create an employment, contractor, or agency relationship. It is a request that we will review at our discretion.
• We may contact you at the phone number or email address provided to discuss your application.
• We reserve the right to accept or decline any registration without providing reasons.
• Any subsequent engagement would be governed by a separate written agreement.

8. Training Enrollments

When you register for a training session or event hosted by NP Mortgages, you agree that:

• Registration is subject to availability and the registration deadline displayed on the event page. Registrations submitted after the published deadline will not be accepted.
• NP Mortgages reserves the right to cancel, postpone, or modify any training event. Where possible, we will notify registered attendees in advance.
• Training content is provided for educational purposes and does not constitute professional advice or certification unless expressly stated.

9. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Site to:

NP MORTGAGES DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SITE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS.

13. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE CANADIAN LAW, NP MORTGAGES, ITS DIRECTORS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE SITE, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO DAMAGES ARISING FROM RELIANCE ON ANY INFORMATION OR CALCULATOR RESULT, INABILITY TO ACCESS THE SITE, OR ANY MORTGAGE APPLICATION BEING DECLINED BY A LENDER.

SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION OF CERTAIN LIABILITIES; IN SUCH JURISDICTIONS, OUR LIABILITY WILL BE LIMITED TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.

14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless NP Mortgages and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to: (a) your violation of these Terms; (b) any information you submit through the Site; or (c) your violation of any applicable law or third-party right.

16. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ontario, Canada.
